RESEARCH AND PLANNING

Established in 2001 and operationalized in 2002, the Directorate of Research and Planning is central to TUCTAs strategic objectives.

The Directorate is responsible for implementing and coordinating all activities about research and planning in TUCTA. The role is also not limited to technical support to affiliate members. The functions also include conducting surveys, drafting position papers, collaborating with national and international partners on research, data mining and analysis and other related roles.

The department is currently led by Mr Innocent Tibrus John, a trade unionist and a highly experienced Labour economist.
